Two police cars collide when officer runs stoplight
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) -- Authorities say a Syracuse city police officer was looking at the computer inside his patrol car when he ran a red light and collided with an unmarked police vehicle.
Police tell The Post-Standard ( http://bit.ly/1sQl5wR ) that 35-year-old Officer Robert Harrington was driving a marked car late Tuesday morning when he failed to stop for a red light at an intersection and drove into an unmarked vehicle driven by 51-year-old Detective Edward MacBlane.
No tickets have been issued of course.Dudley DoRight gets a pass cause he's keeping you safe.
No letter of the law for those dudes that would put a damper on the heroism.
Special dispensations are not for you peons.

Duran Duran accuses fan club of contract breach
CHICAGO (AP) — Popular 1980s band Duran Duran is suing its own fan club.
The group known for hits like "Notorious" and "Hungry Like the Wolf" accuses the suburban Chicago-based club of breaching contract by not paying the band promised revenue.
Wonders never cease huh.I always get the urge to slit my wrists when I hear a Duran Duran song.
I mean how much revenue can there be from this venture.It's not like it's a Journey fan club big doings on that one.
I will admit I was a member of the KISS Army but I outgrew that shit a long time ago.

McDonald's worker sells crack during shift
An undercover sting at a McDonald's on suburban Philadelphia's swanky Main Line has led to the arrest of a fast food employee who police say was selling crack at the restaurant.
Officers from Radnor Township Police went undercover four times over the past month at the burger joint located along the 500 block of West Lancaster Avenue in Wayne, Pennsylvania, right in the heart of the town's business district.
Each time, police say they bought the illegal drugs from 29-year-old Allen Trammell, of Philadelphia, in the restaurant's parking lot. A cook at the McDonald's for the past two years, Trammell would leave the kitchen line to deal, officials said.
“When not working as a crew and preparing food, he was out in the rear parking lot selling crack cocaine...new definition of what may be considered a Happy Meal," Radnor Police Lt. Andy Block said.
I was gonna do a YDHTE but I think this is the fourth one I've done so it's pretty common.
That's gonna mess up that promotion to the drive-in window where business would be real good.
Maybe there's a MickeyD's around here that sells blunts now that would be a Happy Meal.
Smokin cocaine is not a very happy pastime well maybe for a few minutes but that's all.

DART attack:Concert goers attacked after concert
DALLAS — It was a memorable night for all the wrong reasons.
A great aunt and her niece from Collin County spent last Thursday night attending a Lady Gaga concert. It was all part of a New Year’s resolution.
But everything that went wrong could be sensed in a phone call Cherie Tipsword picked up just after midnight.
“A terrified voice; if she had not told me her name, I would not have known who it was,” Tipsword said.
It was her aunt crying and calling from MLK Station on DART's Green Line train. She was with her great niece coming home from the concert when they were assaulted.
The names of the victims are not being released for their safety.
“They felt like sitting ducks," Tipsword said. "They felt a sense of danger but had no recourse."
Those damn teens strike again.Public transportation is the best traveling the city surrounded by the best human beings in the world.What's not to like.
They should look on the bright side they lowered their carbon footprint and missed all the traffic by taking the train.
It ends up being a wash though with all the extra carbon dioxide emitted as they were taking the beat down.
I wonder if they will take the train home from the hospital?
I'm guessing traffic will be an issue for them too.
In closing always have a recourse for a sense of danger.

Honey bees sting Texas man about 1000 times
WICHITA FALLS, Texas (AP) -- A North Texas street department worker has been stung about 1,000 times by aggressive bees that also attacked two co-workers who tried to help him.
Wichita Falls officials blamed Thursday's attack on Africanized honey bees.
Spokesman Barry Levy (LEE'-vee) says a swarm attacked a worker mowing grass along culverts near the Weeks Park Tennis Center. He says the man was in good condition at a local hospital.
