Killingly man started kitchen fire with marijuana
A Killingly man is facing drug-related charges after state police say he started a kitchen fire with marijuana in his oven Saturday afternoon.
At 6:30 p.m., police said the Dayville Fire Department was summoned to 480 Hartford Pike, Apt. 4 on reports of an oven fire.
Once the fire was extinguished, an investigation revealed there was a large amount of marijuana inside the oven, police said.
Chad Michael Hustus, 21, of Furnace Street, was charged with possession of more than a half-ounce of cannabis and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
He was released on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court on June 20.
Patience is definitely a virtue in these situations.
Some string a fan a little time= dry bud.
My guess is the bong hits made him sleepy and he forgot the buds in the oven.
Sometimes reality meets the myth.
Some peoples kids.
