What if spending endless hours on those are my goals asshole

Personally my goal is having enough cash for whiskey,women,smoke and some chow every now and again.
I wonder if his goal was getting me to read his mindless blather.
He's not worried about you or me per se.
He's just signaling his displeasure with your personal choices.
