Your crack reporter has identified the gun nut dog.Neighbors have confirmed this is the suspect.His name is Jumpy a 7 year old Australian shepherd/border collie mix.I can now report and confirm that Jumpy was actually just playing around with the loaded weapon and was startled by his owner and negligently discharged the weapon because he had his hole digger on the bang switch.I will follow up if any charges are filed.
