Man throws chain saws at deputy during East Texas chase
Police in Lufkin said an East Texas man is in custody after he was involved in an hour-long chase that involved eight law enforcement agencies, covered three counties and included chain saws being tossed at an officer by the fleeing driver.
Authorities said 27-year-old Richard Kay finally was caught after troopers shot out two of his tires and the radiator of his pickup truck.
