Two police cars collide when officer runs stoplight
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) -- Authorities say a Syracuse city police officer was looking at the computer inside his patrol car when he ran a red light and collided with an unmarked police vehicle.
Police tell The Post-Standard ( http://bit.ly/1sQl5wR ) that 35-year-old Officer Robert Harrington was driving a marked car late Tuesday morning when he failed to stop for a red light at an intersection and drove into an unmarked vehicle driven by 51-year-old Detective Edward MacBlane.
