AIDS researcher pleads not guilty to fakery counts

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - A former Iowa State University scientist has pleaded not guilty to charges alleging that falsified his research for an AIDS vaccine to secure millions of dollars in federal funding.
Dong-Pyou Han appeared in federal court in Des Moines on Tuesday and entered his pleas of not guilty to four counts of making false statements. Each count carries up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

My faith in"scientists" has been crushed.I can't imagine why any"scientist"would falsify research.
Oh,I see there's lots of money in"science"in the form of government grants many many billions I am told.
I'm sure that has nothing to do with it.Aren't all "scientists" altruistic arbiters of all that is good and true only following the evidence to the answers.
Nah, they ain't most are politicians in lab coats and just human after all.
Remember kiddos science is what the government tells you it is.They ain't funding nothing that is contrary to their preconceived notions.
