Vendor shoots woman in leg at Pennsylvania gunshow
BLOOMSBURG, Pa. (AP) — Police say a vendor accidentally shot a woman in the leg while demonstrating a gun and holster at a gun show in central Pennsylvania.
Bloomsburg police say the Columbia County district attorney's office will determine whether the vendor, 44-year-old Geoffrey Hawk, of Warminster, will face any criminal charges in Saturday's incident at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds.
Hawk didn't immediately return calls to his cellphone and business on Sunday.
Police say Hawk told them he thought the gun was unloaded when he demonstrated a concealed-carry wallet holster to the woman.
I wonder if he had a first aid kit.You know in Case of Emergency. No word on if she made the purchase from Geoffrey.
I would point out there is no such thing as an unloaded gun but ya'll probably already knew that.
We do know however the gun functions unlike Geoffrey's brain.
Some peoples kids.
Update:She ain't even mad.Woman shot at Pa. gun show doesn't blame vendor
ORANGEVILLE, Pa. (AP) - A woman wounded at a central Pennsylvania gun show during the weekend says she doesn't blame the vendor who shot her accidentally while demonstrating a concealed carry wallet holster.
In fact, 25-year-old Krista Gearhart told the (Bloomsburg) Press Enterprise (http://bit.ly/1nXOBLd ) on Sunday that her heart goes out to him for what she calls the "horrible accident."
I don't know I'd be slightly irked but I'd probably be fine if he paid the vet bill.
