Mom arrested after video shows baby being slapped repeatedly
BEAUMONT — A 27-year-old mother has some explaining to do after authorities say she was captured on video slapping her 8-month-old daughter repeatedly.
In the video, taken by a neighbor, the noise of each slap can be heard loud and clear.
The neighbor who recorded it only wants to be identified as Hakim.
Hakim says he took the video as proof of the force that was being used to discipline the baby girl on Liberty Avenue in Beaumont.
“It was kind of loud for me to hear with my door closed,” explained Hakim. “That’s what made my heart just fall. It was too hard.”
Authorities arrested Tieralyn Angelle at a home in Port Arthur on Thursday after receiving tips.
Angelle was arrested for violating her probation on an unrelated burglary charge.
Again calling her mother is being charitable in the extreme.I'm surprised she has a lengthy criminal history those damn homeschoolers.A blight on society I tell ya.
Some peoples kids need to die.
If you need freon or a/c work that video will be helpful otherwise be prepared to get upset.
Update: Changed that to slapped instead of slapper the person responsible for that has been reprimanded severely.That dude is so dumb it hurts.
