Rescue crews searching for retired assistant police chief
DALLAS -- Police and swift water rescue teams are out in full force, searching for a retired assistant police chief.
Greg Holliday, 63, has been missing since Monday when the Dallas Police Department issued a "critical missing" alert. They believe Holliday is armed and suicidal.
Holliday was last seen near Campbell and Preston Roads. His wife reported him missing, and told police that it was the anniversary of their daughter's death.
Funny that some ex-cop goes missing and it's all hands on deck. For a regular peon not so much.
So it seems some citizens are just more worthy of a hero response than others.
I'm guessing it would be bad form to inquire what this is costing the taxpayer.
If you did so you would be told to shutup and that helping a heroic hero is worth any price.
I call bullshit on that.
