Dallas officer recommended for termination for family violence charges

DALLAS -- A Dallas police officer now faces losing his job over family violence-related charges following a disciplinary hearing Thursday.
Dallas Police Senior Corporal Kristoffer Lewis was recommended for termination during the hearing. He has been placed on administrative leave, pending a decision by Police Chief David Brown.

The disciplinary hearing came days after the chief acknowledged to News 8 that it was a mistake not to have already set Lewis’ case for a disciplinary hearing. News 8 reported earlier this week that no disciplinary action had been taken, even though internal affairs investigators sustained several allegations against Lewis nearly two years ago over a 2011 confrontation with his wife.

"We made a mistake. We should have scheduled this case for a disciplinary hearing sooner. There is no excuse, and we regret our error,” the chief said in an e-mail.

Funny that huh didn't even go to jail for beating up his wife. That badge has it's privileges.
Laws are only for you and me.I'm sure if I was to do these things I would be let go and be patted on the head.
Where's the DA and the Mayor with their crusade against beating women.
Sorry what was I thinking they are just against undesirables doing such things not fine upstanding members of the community.
Maybe the laws don't apply to cops I get confirmation of this everyday.

This ain't the rant from previous that one had a fuckload of curse words:)
