Clerk fights alleged robber,robber sent to hospital
A man who tried to rob a convenience store clerk is recovering in the hospital, according to Dallas police.
The man approached the clerk with a toy gun at a Race Trac on west northwest highway in Dallas, and the clerk fought back. It happened around 4:00 a.m. Saturday.
The suspect will be taken to jail once he is treated and released from the hospital, according to police.
The clerk has minor injuries but wasn't taken to the hospital.
