Chase Elliott to drive #9 NAPA Chevrolet for JR Motorsports
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Jan. 6, 2014) – Driver Chase Elliott will compete full time in the NASCAR Nationwide Series for JR Motorsports starting in 2014 and do so with NAPA AUTO PARTS as his full-season primary sponsor, the team announced today.
With Elliott as its driver, the 2014 season will mark NAPA’s 19th in NASCAR sponsorship. NAPA (National Automotive Parts Association) has more than 6,000 stores nationwide with more than 400,000 quality parts and accessories for automotive and industrial applications – the most extensive inventory in the industry. NAPA headquarters is in Atlanta, Ga., just a short distance from Elliott’s hometown of Dawsonville, Ga.
I don't know if I'm the biggest Bill Elliott fan in the world but I can safely say I'm at least in the top 10.So I will probably go the way of Earnhardt fans and go with Chase when he hits Winston Cup.
I now have a reason to watch the Busch races this year.Congrats to all concerned in this deal.
Kasey will still be with me as I made a decision that when Bill retired I would go with whoever took that seat it has worked out fairly well for me.
One bad thing is out of all the races I have been to not once has my driver won.I've been to alot of em.When I was a kid Petty won a few times and I followed him at the time but I wasn't what you would call a fan.
There was one time that Bill was dominating the Firecracker 400 at Daytona and that no talent clown Mike Skinner wrecked him.He was gonna win that one in the ole 94 car too.Mike Skinner better hope I never see him anywhere I still have a few choice words for that asshole.Enough rambling I must stop now.Thank you for indulging this old fool.
